The Founding Hundred: 48 hours’ early access to pre-ordersRegister free

A racing green open tourer on a gravel drive beneath an old tree, on a misty autumn morning.

The Collection

Worn, not announced.

Six fragrances composed in the English manner, for those who would rather be remembered than noticed.

We make fragrance the way a good tailor makes a coat: slowly, from the finest cloth, and without a logo that demands to be looked at.

A private consultation

Uncertain where to begin? Four questions, and the House will suggest two.

Begin the consultation
A wood-panelled library at dusk, a fire lit beneath a wall of leather-bound books.

Woody Amber

The Library

“Leather-bound spines, pipe tobacco forgotten in a waistcoat pocket, the last embers of an oak fire.”

A fragrance for long evenings and short sentences. Tobacco leaf and iris over cedar and benzoin, warm without ever raising its voice.

Discover The Library
A perfumer’s desk by a tall window: amber glass bottles, a shelf of small vials and handwritten notes.

The House

An English house, in the old sense of the word.

HERITAGE began with a simple conviction: that the finest things are rarely the loudest. Each fragrance is composed around a single English memory and refined until nothing unnecessary remains: a library, a regatta, a tack room before the meet.

We work in small batches with natural materials wherever they are better, and never where they are merely fashionable.

Our story

Choosing a fragrance

A counter, and the House

At a department-store counter

  • A tester strip, in a crowd.
  • A decision in minutes, before the paper has dried.
  • A price with the marketing already in it.

With HERITAGE

  • All six at home, for £38, credited in full against your first bottle.
  • Each fragrance composed around a single memory, and worn for a whole day before you decide.
  • An eau de parfum made to sit close, and to last.
The Discovery Set

The English Manner

Things that do not need explaining.

A springer spaniel resting on a worn Persian rug before the fire.
After the walk, before supper
A wooden skiff moored beneath willows on a misty river in early summer.
The river, the first week of July
A stone lodge on a heather moor, mist lying in the glen.
The lodge, late in the season
A tweed jacket hung at a window, above a flat cap and leather gloves on an old trunk.
Tweed, older than its owner
